Alexander Does Supper started off as a South London supper club concept born off the back of the lock-down.
I’ve always been fascinated by food - some of my earliest memories are sat astride a hip, watching my Father fry spices in generous amounts of butter.
This obsession with food never seemed to leave me, nor the strong desire to share this obsession by feeding others.
I began to focus on the sense of communion we often find through sharing not only the food we eat, but indeed the evening as a whole. Food, wine and art - all just conduits for something else, something stolen from many of us over the pandemic.
Today, Alexander Does Supper exists mainly as a supper club in collaboration with a local art school. The evening being a mix of cocktails, life drawing, indulgent food and beautiful live music.
We also throw private parties, cater events (big or small) and are working on organising retreats for those so inclined.
